O musical, de autoria de Jonathan Larson e que conta um ano da vida de oito jovens que moram em Nova Iorque durante a década de 80, conquistou um séquito de fãs brasileiros que assistem, divulgam e fortalecem RENTnas redes sociais.
Segundo o ator e produtor Bruno Narchi, as redes sociais foram fundamentais para o retorno do espetáculo, que agora pode ser visto no majestoso Teatro FAAP.
